The Crossings at Montevideo, formerly known as the Montevideo Country Club, was originally built in 1923 as a nine hole course. In 1994, the second nine was completed. The Crossings is now a challenging 18 hole course with rolling hills interesting greens and just the right amount of sand to keep golfers on their toes. It is located on the bank of the Minnesota River where the Chippewa River crosses into the Minnesota River.
Original trees on the course, make it both scenic and fun. Although the course is only 6207 yards from the Championship tees, there are shots that must be strategically played or the golfer will find challenges never dreamed possible.
